Season 9 begins with Mia going to Paris for her modeling job. Peter finds himself more and more out of place in Mia’s sophisticated world and the two begin to drift apart, especially after she finds out that he has begun to take drugs again. Peter is unable to shake off his addiction and Mia breaks off with him. Worse, he has also pissed off his band with his drug use, and they find his replacement in Jane. Riley tries to convince himself and the rest of his friends that he is not gay, and will go to great lengths to prove it.

Declan turns his attention to Holly J, and she falls head-over-heels in love with him. KC and Clare’s relationship suffer a bitter blow, and Anya and Sav think that they were meant for each other – until they meet Sav’s wife-to-be, and both find out that his parents had already arranged his marriage beforehand.
